Travel the USA with Mr. Peacock & Friends
and find Hidden Treasures

MR & Mrs Peacock PR

Travel the USA with Mr. Peacock & Friends
and find Hidden Treasures was
hatched out by an EF2 tornado !

When the Iowa peacock farmers (Peacock Information Center,
peafowl.com ) Dennis Fett and Debra John Buck were hit by a devastating EF2  tornado on June 3, 2014, their life was turned upside down.   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=isnti8X4wyI&feature=youtu.be

The married couple's house was damaged , including over 100 trees uprooted, along with destroying part of the 100-year-old peacock barn with 135 MPH tornado winds.

After struggling and fighting with their insurance company to settle equitably for the damage done by the tornado, the couple resorted to doing most of the work themselves with very little paid or volunteer help.

After working over a year on tornado restoration, the couple decided to take one day off a week to find hidden treasures that are not paid much attention to by major media sources.

The couple was inspired by the late Charles Kuralt who sent his crew out to their peacock farm in the mid 1990's to film a segment for his show called, "
On the road".   Unfortunately, Charles Kuralt passed away before he was able to come to their peacock farm to do the final segment for the show.

Mr. Kuralt inspired Fett & Buck to find and film places such as: a castle in Iowa, treasure in a sunken steamboat, the world's largest cornstalk, a beetle spider, Bridges of Madison County, Field Of Dreams, Corn Palace, Pyramid House, a mermaid in Iowa,  a Danish windmill in Iowa,  a tree in the middle of the road, the largest frying pan, and John Wayne's birthplace, to name a few.

The couple decided to take their past experience on TV and produce an offshoot from their very successful peacock educational web series called,
Mr. Peacock and friends. and create Mr. Peacock and friends, Hidden Treasures. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLnPcelEYyHsDJETsqKa5tuCkeB1k5q-Wn

Dennis Fett & Debra Joan Buck have enjoyed discovering so many wonderful hidden treasures not well known around the countryside.

The couple has plans to continue their journey around the countryside to find as many hidden treasures as they can possibly come up with for the viewing pleasure of their web audience.

On Mr. Peacock's latest adventure, they discovered a hidden treasure of the Golden Spike, Lincoln Monument and the Black Angel in Council Bluffs, Iowa.   The town of Council Bluffs, Iowa is steeped in historical memories of the past. With the founding of the eastern terminus for the Union Pacific Railroad, You will see the General Dodge house/museum  along with the Black Angel monument that is a tribute to the late Ruth Ann Dodge, wife of General Dodge.   The black Angel has a lot of supernatural folklore associated with it. And during the filming we didn't notice anything strange but when we were editing this video we heard some moaning in the background.  We think it was the wind, but is it? We never had anything like this happen with the hundreds of hours of video that we shot.
